Medicinal mushrooms are the great natural immunomodulators that protect from infectious and autoimmune diseases. They provide nutrients that increase the pet´s immune system activity and strengthen the protective action of their defences, improving their resistance and vitality.

INDICATIONS: Improves the humoral and cellular immune response in the pre and post-vaccination period in puppies and young animals. Strengthens the vaccinal response and seroconversion against parvovirus and/or distemper vaccines. Reports immunomodulatory activity, stimulating the defence mechanisms and the adaptive response (humoral and cellular). Dogs with leishmaniasis or associated pathologies and other infectious diseases, since the bioactive molecules of the fungi present antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. Animals with a weakened immune system (immunosuppression) due to various possible causes such as postoperative circumstances, pharmacological treatments or situations of physiological stress, among others

Herizumib®:
It is a new technological product developed and patented by Hifas da Terra for HifasVet. This new functional ingredient is the result of fermentation from strain DSM34087 of Hericium erinaceus. It is our own strain isolated in Pontevedra and we have in vitro studies that support its use in our animal mycotherapy food supplements due to its anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects and therapeutic activity at a neurological and oncological level.

Reishi: 
Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi) or ‘mushroom of eternal youth’ is one of the most recognised medicinal mushrooms in the world. The benefits of Reishi are due to the presence of active biomolecules or specific nutrients: the main ones are polysaccharides such as beta-glucans (especially β-Dglucans), terpenes (especially triterpenes) and peptidoglycans. It contains hundreds of bioactive components or components that are studied for their relevant role in: cognitive impairment, endocrine-metabolic system (including liver cells), immunology and defence and integrative support in quality of life studies in human and veterinary medicine.

Agaricus Blazei Murill:
Agaricus blazei Murill or ´sun mushroom´ is one of the best known and most studied medicinal mushrooms due to its high polysaccharide and mineral content, also of interest to the immune system. It stands out for its quantity of active biomolecules, especially β-glucans (immunomodulatory polysaccharides) and minerals such as zinc. Its natural GABA content, its action on the health of the intestinal microbiota and neurogenesis is being studied. Its role is relevant in health areas such as: Immunology (allergies) and its activity in combination with conventional treatments and its effect on the quality of life of pets

Shiitake:
Lentinula edodes (Shiitake) is known as a delicious edible mushroom and its gastronomic use is widespread. However, its content of bioactive substances such as phenolic compounds, immunomodulators, among many others, also make it of great interest in human and animal health care. It contains all the essential amino acids and is notable for its micronutrient content, such as iron, calcium and zinc, B vitamins, vitamin E and provitamin D, unsaturated fatty acids and a large amount of polysaccharides, especially lentinan. This polysaccharide, like PSK, is a β-glucan 1-3 with a strong immunomodulatory effect.

Turmeric:
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a root of the ginger family, widely used for its multiple benefits, but above all for its help as a natural anti-inflammatory. Curcumin is the phytochemical that gives it this power. Curcuminoids are natural compounds such as demethoxycurcumin and are the main active ingredients in the rhizome of the Curcuma longa plant. The turmeric extract incorporated in HIFAS IMMUNE PET is in the form of a phytosome, obtained using a patented method that increases the bioavailability of these active ingredients, helping to strengthen defences due to their immunomodulatory action.

Echinacea Purpurea:
Contains active compounds such as echinacosides (derived from caffeic acid) and achichoric acid which help to stimulate the immune system by increasing antibody titres and white blood cell counts. In addition, these active compounds have antioxidant capacity and contribute to maintaining a healthy, well-maintained respiratory system.

10% Herizumib®: Hericium erinaceus fermented mycelium (patent pending, biotechnologically produced strain), 1,2% Ganozumib®: Ganoderma lucidum fermented mycelium (patent pending, biotechnologically produced strain), 1% Hericium erinaceus fungus, 0,28% Agaricus subrufescens/ A. blazei fermented mycelium (exclusive biotechnologically produced strain), 0,28 % Ganoderma lucidum micronised carpophore, 0,28 % Lentinula edodes micronised carpophore (natural sources of β-glucans 1,3-1,6). Botanically defined natural products: 0,5 % turmeric extract (natural source of curcuminoids) and 0,2 % echinacea extract (natural source of echinacosides), pea protein

Oral administration as a single daily dose or divided into 2 doses of 0.5 ml per kg body weight of the animal.
NOTE: always use the syringe that comes with the product and not another one, it avoids spillage and allows an exact dosage for the animal. If desired, the product can be administered in the bowl with the food.
